12 week Update!

Here's the weekly update!

How far along:  12 weeks
Due Date: December 31st
Total weight gain? Just weighed myself this morning and I am down another pound. Yes, I am eating!
Maternity clothes? Still in my normal clothes, although they are starting to fit a little different.
Stretch marks? Nothing new, although some existing ones are looking like they are more prominent.
Sleep: I am still exhausted. I have been able to get some good sleep at night, but would really like to take a nap every day at about 2pm.
Best moment this week: Father' Day. Nick and I decided Sunday morning that we were going to go to my parents and cook them breakfast, or rather brunch. We had a great time and we love spending time with my parents. In case you didn't get to see the picture on Facebook, this is my daddy and soon to be grandpa!

Miss anything? I miss market fresh sandwiches from Arby's and sleep.
Movement: None yet, but I know she's moving :)
Food cravings:  Kind of anything "potato," french fries, baked potato and potato cakes from Arby's.
Anything making you queasy or sick? So this week I've been feeling much better. I have still had some moments that have been iffy and I still keep the Jolly Ranchers around but for the most part there really hasn't been anything specific. I have noticed that it gets worse when I haven't eaten in a while.
Gender: Don't know yet. Will hopefully find out the beginning to middle of August. We are hoping that with this next ultrasound they may be able to at least give us an idea, if not a definitive girl or boy. We are not holding our breath though.
Labor signs: None.
Symptoms: Sore breasts, nausea, exhausted, mild cramps, and (TMI) tons of mucous.
Belly Button in or out? Currently in.
Wedding rings on or off? On, but i'm sure later in summer they will be off.
Looking forward to: Second Trimester and our next OB appointment on June 27th.

11 weeks

Here's the weekly update! It's a day late since I completely forgot yesterday.

How far along:  11 weeks, 1 day
Due Date: December 31st
Total weight gain? None, still down about 10 pounds. I feel as though I am extremely bloated and have put on about 10 pounds.
Maternity clothes? Still wearing my normal clothes. Although I do have a maternity shirt that is comfy that I've been wearing
Stretch marks? Nothing new.
Sleep: I am exhausted. I was right working nights last weeks was a pain, although the girls were great and let me get quite a bit of sleep on both nights.
Best moment this week: An impromptu trip to Indianapolis where we ended up buying all the furniture for the nursery. We actually went down to have Nick's iphone looked at since it won't connect to our home wifi, but did some extra shopping while we were there. I will post pictures when we get the furniture and get it set up. It comes with in home delivery and set up. Nick's pretty happy that he doesn't have to take it up the stairs!
Miss anything? I miss market fresh sandwiches from Arby's, Sleep, and days without throwing up.
Movement: None yet, but I know she's moving :)
Food cravings:  Kind of anything "potato," french fries, baked potato and potato cakes from Arby's.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Yeah, but I haven't been able to really put my finger on it. Saturday was a really bad day. I ended up throwing up twice and was nauseous the entire day. Thanks to Jen and Jillian I have figured out that Jolly Ranchers extremely help to keep my nausea at bay. I've also been trying to keep more food in my stomach at all times.
Gender: Don't know yet. Will hopefully find out the beginning to middle of August.
Labor signs: None.
Symptoms: Sore breasts, nausea, exhausted, and mild cramps.
Belly Button in or out? Currently in.
Wedding rings on or off? On, but i'm sure later in summer they will be off.
Looking forward to: Two weeks from tomorrow is our next doctor's appointment. We will be going to our regular OB, whom for know we will call Dr. K, from now on.

Wiggly Butt

It's been an exciting week around here.  We finally got our lawn put in yesterday. We were supposed to get a 2 day warning, but we ended up getting a 2 hour warning instead. We also finally got our closet back in order. We had a leak from the outside faucet that ended up spilling water underneath the wall and soaking the carpet. They had to completely replace the padding and dry the carpet. That was all re-installed this morning.  The big news of the week is that we are now 10 weeks!

How far along:  10 weeks; we measured a few days behind on both ultrasounds, but the doctor decided not to change my due date, so it stays December 31st!
Total weight gain? I've lost about 10 pounds since we found out that we were pregnant. I was told today that that's ok.
Maternity clothes? Still wearing my normal clothes.
Stretch marks? Nothing new.
Sleep: I want to sleep all the time. It's pretty hard to get enough sleep. It hits about 2pm and I want to take a nap, but most of the time I'm at work. The other night I was on the couch and a sleep by 8pm. I slept until 9:45 and then was in bed by 10:15 and slept until morning. I think I needed the sleep. It's gonna get weird for a few days. I am working nights tonight and tomorrow night. I'm sure I'm gonna be exhausted.
Best moment this week: Getting to see this! Definitely a wiggly butt!

Miss anything? I miss market fresh sandwiches from Arby's, Sleep, and days without feeling like I'm gonna puke.
Movement: None yet, but I know she's moving :)
Food cravings:  Nothing really this week.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope, Have discovered that it's worse for me around 5pm. I'm calling it my witching hour. It gets pretty bad. Most of the time I can breathe through it and get past it. I did throw up once last Saturday night, but I'm pretty sure that I got overheated.
Gender: Don't know yet. Will hopefully find out the beginning to middle of August.
Labor signs: None.
Symptoms: Sore breasts, nausea, tired, and mild cramps.
Belly Button in or out? Currently in.
Wedding rings on or off? On, but i'm sure later in summer they will be off.
Looking forward to: Not feeling as nauseous, although I wouldn't trade it for the world!

I just want to say thank you to everyone that has been praying for and thinking about us through this entire process. It is so nice to know that we have good caring friends and family out there.
